'It’s a new era in fashion - there are no rules. It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers all together.' - Alexander McQueen
There is something oh so classic about a white t. You just can’t go wrong, especially when it’s accessorized properly. Seriously, it can go from super casual to dressy if paired with the right necklace, or skirt, or even shoes (I kid you not my friends, it’s possible).
However, there are times when a white t really is just a white t and must be replaced with a white top for a little pazazz. My personal favorite is a see-through (oh yeah I get naughty like that) over-sized, button-up top from H&M. Generally I try to stick to oversized clothes only during casual day events or movie nights. I mean I only have this body for so long, so I may as well take advantage and wear tight clothes while I have the chance (or at least before I need the full body Spanx…yes boys they exist). Besides I’m single, so this is no time to hide what I got (not to toot my own horn or anything, but I got some nice curves).
Anyway…though I generally prefer not to wear oversized items, I think they are perfectly acceptable when they are sheer-ish. Frankly I think it’s kind of sexy to show off a hint of nakedness, and my top is the perfect sneak peek for boys without crossing the border to the ‘leaving nothing to the imaginagion’ slut wear (not that I’m slut-shaming…to each her own).
