Peak-a-boo soft hues are a great way to celebrate the change of season. Deep neutrals and delicate tertiary pastels create a statement look that feels just right for spring. Rich earth browns laced with bits of pale spring green go great with neutral skin tones and jade eyes. If you have blue eyes and warm skin, a soft peach could replace the green shown here. For cooler skin tones and brown eye, try pale lilac tips. Read the style notes for professional tips and formulas. –– Laura Martin
Tips: Highlight the hair below the parietal ridge in a dense foil pattern. Keep the lightened pieces away from the hairline, and use slices to ensure a visible result. Alternate developers for a dimensional result lifting to levels 9 and 10. Apply the single process between the foils and process concurrently. After washing and drying the hair, apply glaze according to manufacturer’s instructions.
