One would expect the KTZ Fall/Winter 2014 show to end London Fashion Week with a bang, especially after the major amounts of attention its controversial Spring/Summer 2014 collection garnered—remember the floral hijabs? The Macedonian duo did not disappoint, this time exploring east Asian handicraft in a greyscale color palette adorned with gold and silver. Although the opera-length leather gloves and black bomber jackets were typical of the fierce KTZ girl, this collection surprised everyone as it edged a little towards the romantic. Ultra-feminine full skirts and sailor-style collars hinted at a softer side underneath the armor-inspired pieces. Mirror-embroidered veils, inspired by Indian-style handicraft, were paired with elaborate gold jewelry which evoked ideas of Eastern wedding ceremonies. The KTZ girl has fallen in love, but she's too tough to let her guard down for anyone.
