How to Balance Out a Head-to-Toe Denim Look

I’M WEARING/ESTOY USANDO: Zara denim shirt, Chicnova striped denim shirt, Forever21 boyfriend jeans (similar here & here), Ivanka Trump sandals (similar here), Salvatore Ferragamo Buckle watch, Mansur Gavriel bucket bag in cammello

I have a clear memory in my mind from when I was a kid at elementary school; for some reason back then I used to love clothes with polka-dots and I wanted to wear them all over on a whole polka-dot outfit. One special day at school I wasn’t obligated to wear uniform but normal clothes, so I went with my best full head-to-toe polka-dot outfit. I felt pretty amazing, confident that my attire was of my liking, age proper and well, I just simply loved it, until a classmate told me -joking, but still hurtful- that ‘I just needed one more polka-dot to look completely ridiculous-. Since then and for several years I had that strange feeling to wear a head-to-toe outfit of denim, pattern or texture, now that’s been quite a while from then and had the chance to experiment a lot more, I realise that everything it’s about balance.

So here’s a completely head-to-toe denim outfit with some preferred accessories (and my new Mansur Gavriel bucket bag, yey!), to demonstrate myself (and maybe my ex-classmate) that you can wear this kind of outfit, you just need to find the balance between shades, textures and patterns. Happy Saturday!
