Today is an awesome day.

After two years away from INDIE, I'm excited and overjoyed to be back, now, with an evolved understanding of success in the digital media world, and a better knowledge of the fashion industry, gained through my time at Minkoff, and the past 18 months developing and launching native advertising and content marketing campaigns atSocialyte, a digital agency I founded with my life long collaborator,Beca Alexander.

For this second coming, I've brought together some amazing talents, individuals who are making waves in the industry by embracing digital storytelling.

Celebrity hair stylist Nick Arrojo, who's StyleNoted.com boasts over 100,000 readers per month, offering tutorials on trends mastered at Soho's Arrojo Salon.

Benejamin Kanarek, a world renowned fashion photographer who's work has graced the covers of Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, and who's blog offers advice for young photographers looking to make a statement in fashion.

DJ Becka Diamond, who's mixtapes on13:13 literally get me through my days.

Lady Gaga-approved Fashion District destination,M&J Trimming joins our fold with the launch of Project DIY, a series of runway and street style-inspired tutorials and at-home kits for the make it myself-type of girl.

Modern Vice, a quickly rising New York shoe brand that's become the must have of the fashionable set. Run byJordan and Jensen Adoni, the brand's been collaborating with model/muse Natalie Suarez. Natalie's personally styled looks for the brand will become a regular feature on the new INDIE.

VAGAZINE, the digital flagship of New York fashion and art mag Vaga. Featuring some of the city's creative personalities including Zoe Kravitz, Andre Johnson, and Stephen Kolb, the magazine speaks to INDIE's rebellious roots.

As the site grows, so will our contributors, providing our Indies an exclusively curated look at the world of luxury fashion.

A reinvention begins as one of the world’s most read fashion blogs,555k uniques, 2.2M pageviews, 330k+ social followers,relaunches as a editorial blogging community dedicated to popular fashion, beauty and luxury lifestyle influencers.

Daniel Saynt, who launched INDIE in 2004, sold it in 2010, and purchased it back in 2012, says, “I always intended for INDIE to be about discovery. When I acquired the site I wanted to be able to showcase creative talents we believe in, making it easier for brands to connect to top fashion bloggers and our Indies to follow compelling fashion stories. I discovered Tidal Labs and knew they were the perfect partner to bring my vision to life.”

Current Editor-in-Chief,Beca Alexanderwill receive a title change to Curator-in-Chief, developing original editorials featuring members, and selecting the best incoming content from bloggers and select industry contributors such as celebrity stylist Nick Arrojo, Vogue photographer Benjamin Kanarek, DJ Becka Diamond and a full list of contributors which will be announced April 3rd.

The new Indie has already attracted launch advertisers such as Gap, HTC, Macy’s and HP, which have commissioned editorials produced by Beca and contributors within the community.

“Socialyte is a digital agency. INDIE is our magazine. We’re building the celebrities of the social generation and our partnership with Tidal Labs will keep INDIE where we've always been, ahead of the trend,” concludes Saynt.

INDIE will celebrate it's launch on April 3rd at Le Baron with a private cocktail event hosted by Curator-in-Chief, Beca Alexander with DJ sets by Timo Weiland, Alan Eckstein, and DJ Manero.
